School Performance
Preliminary assessment data is now available for 2023-24 and we are delighted with the attainment and progress that our children have made.
In Y6, 95% of children achieved the expected standard in reading and maths with 75% in writing.
In the Y4 Times Table check the average score was 24.1 marks out of 25 on the formal assessment. This is highly likely to be in the top 1% in the country.
The teaching of reading is our highest priority at Wisewood and is key to the future success of all our children. We’re delighted with the progress that children have made in their phonics from EYFS through KS1 and continuing into KS2 and with the number of children passing the statutory phonics check in Y1 (89%) and Y2 (88%).
Updated performance data will be added to the website following the checking exercise in September.
Attainment and Progress Data for 2023 is available here:
Progress in Reading, Writing and Maths in KS2 was significantly above National at the end of KS2.
Attainment was above National standards in all areas.
Outcomes in the Y4 times tables check were in the top 1% nationally.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic no performance data was published for 2020 or 2021.
