Geography
At Wisewood, our intent for Geography is to enable children to enjoy a rich and broad understanding of the world around them through the delivery of a purposeful, engaging curriculum. We encourage pupils to believe in themselves, build resilience and become creative, critical thinkers. We aspire to empower our children in becoming inquisitive geographers and give our children a better understanding of the ways in which they contribute to society and the wider world.
Our engaging and active geography curriculum will enable a clear understanding of their own surroundings as well as develop connections through people and events in different places. The carefully constructed learning experiences will instill a curiosity and wonder which will remain with our children for the rest of their lives.
