School Performance
"Leaders and staff have high expectations of all pupils. Parents and carers are overwhelmingly positive about the school. They appreciate the good personal and academic skills their children are developing from early years onward." - Ofsted March 2022
We are a Good School. Our recent Ofsted inspection found all areas of our school to be Good. Please take some time to read our report.

Preliminary Data for 2023-24
Preliminary assessment data is now available for 2023-24 and we are delighted with the attainment and progress that our children have made.
In Y6, 95% of children achieved the expected standard in reading and maths with 75% in writing. This is significantly above National and Sheffield averages.
In the Y4 Times Table check, the average score was 24.1 marks out of 25 on the formal assessment (the National average was 20.6 marks). This is highly likely to be in the top 1% in the country. 60% of children scored full marks (the National average was 34%).
The teaching of reading is our highest priority at Wisewood and is key to the future success of all our children. We’re delighted with the progress that children have made in their phonics from EYFS through KS1 and continuing into KS2 and with the number of children passing the statutory phonics check in Y1 (89%) and Y2 (88%).
Updated performance data will be added to the website following the checking exercise in September.
Attainment and Progress Data for 2023 is available here:
