Welcome

Welcome to Wisewood Community Primary School

COVID UPDATE - 5th January 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Thanks for your patience during this difficult time. We've spent today speaking with families of key workers and organising staff to ensure that we can accommodate children who are eligible to attend as safely as possible.

All families who have been in touch and provided evidence of key worker status have been phoned this afternoon and advised that they have a place. If you have not been called by school and told you have a place then please do not attend. From tomorrow we will be operating 3 bubbles in school. All children should arrive and leave by the main entrance.

If your child is in FS/Y1/Y2 they should arrive at 8:40 and be collected at 3:00.

If your child is in Y3/Y4 they should arrive at 8:50 and be collected at 3:10.

If your child is in Y5/Y6 they should arrive at 9:00 and be collected at 3:20.

For the remainder of this week work will continue to be posted on Seesaw and the private class Facebook groups. Children in school will be accessing the same learning and resources that we will send home to the rest of our children. I will write to all parents tomorrow with further details of our plans for online learning. If you have not yet signed up to Seesaw please do so as soon as possible. If you are having difficulties please contact your child's class teacher who will be happy to help.

Welcome to Wisewood Primary School. Wisewood is a small, inclusive and welcoming school with a friendly atmosphere and real feeling of community. The school sits at the heart of an established, close-knit  community and provides education from 4 to 11.

Everyone at Wisewood works collaboratively to ensure that all our children are happy, safe and aspire to be the best that they can and we thank all of our parents and guardians for your support in helping us to achieve this.

It is now time to start enrolling children who will start school in September 2021.
