We had a FANTASTIC time at Creswell Crags! It was so interesting to see where people actually lived and worked during the Stone Age. We even got to go inside one of the caves that people would have lived in! Here are just a selection of our superb photos from the day.
Last week we decided to do some cave painting! We learnt all about why Stone Age people painted, and the sorts of things they painted. Did you know that instead of signing their art, they painted around their hand? We are going to see some real-life cave paintings when we visit Creswell Crags. In the meantime, here are our examples.
We have been learning all about what the Stone Age people used to hunt their food. We learnt about the different kind of tools used and had a go at making our own. Only sticks, stones and rope were allowed! Here are our creations.
